Welcome to the first ASQA Update for 2025. In this edition we bring you up to date on some of our key areas of focus and updates on recent regulatory action.

The February 2025 edition of ASQA IQ – Integrity and Quality in Focus is out now.

This edition continues to explore our 2024-25 Regulatory Risk Priorities, focusing on shortened course duration.

The Annual Declaration on Compliance (ADC) is an online declaration that all Registered Training Organisation (RTOs) must complete. The submission period for the 2025 ADC will be 3 March to 31 March 2025.

Non-genuine providers and bad faith operators who engage in illicit or unethical activities damage the reputation of the sector and present a significant threat to the integrity of VET.

Our 2025 RTO and ESOS obligations checklists are now available. These checklists will help training providers stay on top of their reporting obligations. The ESOS obligations checklist is also suitable for ELICOS providers.

We have now published draft Practice Guides on Training and assessment – Facilities, resources, and equipment, VET student support – Feedback, complaints and appeals, VET student support – Information and VET student support – Training support.
