Keep delivery locations updated

You need to tell us about all delivery locations you use on an ongoing basis.

This includes locations:

  • in Australia and offshore
  • where third parties deliver VET courses for you on a regular basis.

Delivery location means the location, site or campus where you usually deliver training to students.

If you deliver training at your head office or principal place of business, you need to record it as a delivery location as well.

You also need to tell us if you start or stop delivering training online.

Keeping your delivery locations updated is important for your students to know where your courses take place. You can check your delivery locations on asqanet or on the National Register.

You don’t need to tell us about temporary delivery locations such as workplaces or premises that often change.

Notifying ASQA of these changes

If you need to…

...then you need to

Add or remove a delivery location

Complete an ‘Update minor VET details and remove scope’ form in asqanet.

Select the ‘Add delivery location(s)’ or ‘Remove delivery location(s)’ option within the form.

Amend details of an existing delivery location

Submit Update RTO principal place of business or delivery site form via contact us.

This form can be used to change details such as location name or postcode. You cannot add a new delivery location using this form.

Tell us you are starting or stopping delivering training online

Complete an ‘Update minor VET details and remove scope’ form in asqanet.

Select the ‘Change to delivery states for scope items’ option in the form.

To start or stop online delivery in Australia, tick or untick ‘Domestic online (all states)’.

To start or stop online delivery outside of Australia (offshore), tick or untick ‘Offshore online’.

Tell us you no longer have any permanent delivery locations

Contact us.

If Australian delivery locations do not validate on asqanet, or to add the countries where you are delivering training, contact us.

Find out more about how to tell us about delivery location changes or moving to online delivery in the guide to updating your delivery information.

You need to tell us about changes to your delivery locations and starting or stopping online delivery as soon as possible.
