Training providers must be registered on the Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students (CRICOS) to teach vocational education and training (VET) and/or English Language Intensive Course for Overseas Students (ELICOS) to overseas students in Australia. These are known as Education Services for Overseas Students (ESOS) registered providers.
What is a course registration?
A course registration may be a:
- vocational education and training (VET) qualification, accredited course or skill set
- English Language Intensive Course for Overseas Students (ELICOS) course
Each course registered on CRICOS identifies your approved delivery location, course duration, student capacity, course fees, and delivery formats including work-based training.
If you need to change course details, add a new course or delivery location to your ESOS registration, you need to apply and get approval from ASQA.
