The updated National Code of Practice for Providers of Education and Training to Overseas Students 2017 came into effect on 10 April 2017.

From 1 January 2017, Clause 1.23 and 1.24 of the Standards for RTOs 2015 come into effect.

From 1 July 2016. These amendments designate ASQA as the ESOS agency for some providers.

Additional clauses in the Standards for RTOs 2015 (the Standards) come into effect for all RTOs from 1 January 2016.
