Changes to exemption coverage

If your RTO has claimed an AVETMISS data reporting exemption under the National VET Provider Collection Data Requirements Policy on the basis that you deliver training in vital community services, there are changes to this exemption coverage from 1 January 2016.
From 1 January 2016, this exemption from reporting will apply only to training for which the registered training organisation has received no fee or any other form of consideration.
RTOs that currently claim this exemption will receive direct advice about this change from the Department of Education and Training.
