ASQA spotlight—providers that have delivered no training in both 2016 and 2017

24 October 2018

ASQA is currently examining data from the National Centre for Vocational Education Research (NCVER) for RTOs that have reported they have delivered no training over the past few years.

If your RTO has delivered no training over an extended period, it may be difficult to remain compliant with your ongoing regulatory obligations.

In coming weeks, ASQA will be writing to RTOs that have reported no delivery and asking them to consider the following options:

  • voluntary withdrawal of registration
  • demonstration of ongoing financial viability and access to suitable resources
  • correction of information reported to NCVER.

If ASQA considers that a non-delivering RTO is unable to meet its regulatory obligations, an intention to impose a sanction (such as an intention to cancel registration) may be issued.
