Course accreditation involves five stages:
- Stage 1—Preliminary research and consultation.
- Stage 2—Course development.
- Stage 3—Course design and submission.
- Stage 4—Assessment.
- Stage 5—Decision.
Which form do I use?
Use the Application for course accreditation form—initial or renewal (DOC). Submit the completed application to courses [at] asqa.gov.au.
Is there a fee?
Applying for initial course accreditation involves two fees: an application lodgement fee ($500); and an application assessment fee ($7,570).

How long does accreditation take?
In most cases, ASQA will process applications within six months if the application is complete, and complies with the Standards for VET Accredited Courses 2012 and the Australian Qualifications Framework.
