Annual declaration on compliance for 2022 – submit by 31 March 2022

21 February 2022

Each year, the Standards for Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) 2015 (the Standards) require all ASQA-regulated RTOs to submit an annual declaration on compliance.

The annual declaration is an important tool for both providers and for ASQA.

For RTOs, the annual declaration is an opportunity to undertake a self-assessment to support your training organisation’s self-assurance and continuous improvement, and to make sure that all information ASQA holds about your operations is correct.

For ASQA, the annual declaration helps to identify emerging systemic issues in the VET sector.

To complete the declaration, you will need to assess your training organisation’s compliance with the Standards. In most cases, if providers have been self assuring their practices, systems, processes during the year it takes between 15 and 30 minutes to complete.

Chief Executive Officers are sent an email that contains a unique URL to their online declaration.

Annual declaration submissions close on 31 March 2022.
