Important announcement for former students of Australian Careers Institute Pty Ltd and Nexus Institute Pty Ltd

Australian Careers Institute Pty Ltd (trading as Sage Institute of Fitness) and another RTO owned by the same group, Nexus Institute Pty Ltd, were placed in liquidation on 16 March 2017 and 6 April 2017 respectively. At the time, around 3000 students were enrolled with the two training providers.

The Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) has obtained from the liquidator both electronic student records and a significant number of hard-copy records, including unmarked pieces of assessment.

ASQA is currently processing all received documents, and will identify any which can be returned to students for use as a record of the studies they have undertaken with the two former RTOs. Because of the large volume of documents received, ASQA expects that processing may take several months.

Students seeking their student records or the return of their assessment pieces should lodge a request using the Application for a copy of student records form.
