Statement regarding Trades College Australia

On 31 August 2016 the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) announced that it had made a decision to cancel the registration of Trades College Australia Pty Ltd (RTO 40540), which trades as Unique Trades Recognition Australia, as a provider of vocational education and training (VET) services .

ASQA advises that the Administrative Appeals Tribunal (AAT) has made an order to stay ASQA’s decision until the Tribunal’s review of that decision has been finalised. This means ASQA’s decision is not currently in effect.

On review by the Administrative Appeals Tribunal, ASQA’s decision was set aside by consent.
