On 30 November 2017, ASQA made a decision (on reconsideration) to reject the Applicant's application for renewal of registration as an RTO under the NVR Act.

Following the AAT review, ASQA's rejection of renewal decision has been set aside​ and in substitute the RTO's renewal of registration application is granted for a period of three years with the following condition:

  • The RTO must retain copies of all training and assessment records for all students for all qualifications for the period of six (6) months prior to 19 April 2018 and eighteen (18) months following 19 April 2018.

On  7 September the A/Commissioner decided to:

  1. Reject, under the NVR Act s 17, the application for renewal of registration as an RTO, in full, to include:
    1. SIT30616 Certificate III in Hospitality;
    2. SIT30713 Certificate III in Hospitality;
    3. TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment;

with effect 35 calendar days after the date the RTO is given written notice of the decision.
