Australian Training Awards 2017 now open

The Australian Training Awards are the peak, national awards for the vocational education and training (VET) sector that recognise individuals, businesses and registered training organisations for their contribution to skilling Australia. A majority of the awards stem from state and territory award winners who are then eligible to compete at the national level in select categories.

The Australian Training Awards also have seven additional award categories open for direct entry, which close Wednesday, 31 May 2017 - these include:

Individual

• Lifetime Achievement Award
• National Achievement Award
• Excellence in Language, Literacy and Numeracy Practice Award

Business

• Small Employer of the Year Award
• Australian Apprenticeships – Employer Award

Registered Training Organisation

• School Pathways to VET Award
• International Training Provider of the Year Award

The award ceremony will be held in Canberra on 23 November 2017.
