Extended transition period: HLT51612 Diploma of Nursing

On 3 July 2015, in response to a request from the Community Services and Health Industry Skills Council, the ASQA Commissioners agreed to extend the transition period of the HLT51612 Diploma of Nursing (Enrolled/Division 2).
The decision extends the transition period for RTOs to complete the training, assessment and AQF certification documentation issuance for learners undertaking training in the qualification for an additional 18 months on the endorsement of the replacement HLT training package qualification (nominally 30 June 2018).
Affected RTOs have been notified via email.
