ASQA began this report in response to concerns about fatalities resulting from restraint or intervention by security personnel. Coroners’ reports and stakeholder feedback suggested ongoing training and assessment issues within the security industry.
The review makes eight recommendations. Implementation of these recommendations will result in more robust training and assessment within the security industry.
