Complaints about training providers

ASQA accepts complaints and feedback about training providers from all members of the community.

Poor quality delivery can affect students, industry, and the community. Complaints and feedback contribute to the protection of the sector and we encourage you to report your concerns.

Special note for students with complaints

If you are a student and have a complaint about a training provider, your first step should be to use the provider’s own complaints and appeals process. Providers that are registered with ASQA are required to have a process that ensures students’ complaints are managed effectively and efficiently.

If you are not satisfied with a training provider’s response to your complaint, or if you believe a training provider is not meeting their obligations, you are welcome to tell us about your concerns. Feedback helps us to identify risks to the sector, and to encourage providers to deliver quality outcomes for students.

We do not appeal assessment outcomes for students. We do not help to resolve disputes between students and training providers. If you provide us with feedback about a training provider, we usually will not advise you about actions we take or the outcome of any investigation.
