The Australian Skills Quality Authority has established the Provider Reference Group (PRG) to strengthen engagement with the vocational education and training (VET) sector and support continuous improvement in regulation.
The PRG provides a structured forum for us to engage directly with providers and draw on sector experience. It will support more effective communication, greater transparency and stronger collaboration across the VET system.
Through the PRG, we will:
- engage with providers on emerging issues and sector trends
- seek input on proposed regulatory and education approaches
- improve the clarity and usability of guidance and information
- support more responsive and proportionate regulation.
The group includes a cross-section of providers to ensure a range of perspectives are considered.
The establishment of the PRG reflects our ongoing commitment to working collaboratively with the sector and ensuring that our regulatory practices are informed by real-world provider experience, while maintaining a focus on quality outcomes for students and industry.
