Transition extension request form

Use this form to apply for a transition period extension for superseded training products.

The online form is limited to one qualification. RTOs seeking an extension for more than one qualification from the same training package can email their request and supporting evidence to transitionrequest@asqa.gov.au.

If applying for more than qualification details need to be provided for each qualification unless the same information is relevant across qualifications.

In order to ensure there is adequate time to consider your request, please lodge your extension request at least 180 days before your current transition period ends.

To be eligible for a transition extension, you must show the current transition period will disadvantage students or the related industry.
