When ASQA reviews its approach to cost recovery, including any new fees and charges, we engage with sector stakeholders to seek feedback.

ASQA works closely with the VET Sector Strategic Forum (VSSF) and the Provider Reference Group (PRG) on cost recovery reviews. We also hear directly from individual providers, course owners and other stakeholders on proposed changes.

During our consultation, we consider all feedback from our stakeholders and use this to inform our final fees and charges, ASQA’s current Cost Recovery Implementation Statement (CRIS) was released for public consultation in early 2026.
