With around six months left until the 18-month transition period for the new Training and Education (TAE) Training Package due to expire on 5 October, ASQA will host a special TAE implementation webcast on 19 April 2017 at 2.00 pm (AEST).
This webcast will be hosted by Jane Holt, ASQA’s Regulatory Operations Manager in the Northern Territory and Project Manager for the TAE implementation. She will be joined by Principal Compliance Auditor Cheryl Edwards.
Jane and Cheryl will discuss the requirements that RTOs will have to meet in order to have the new qualification listed on their scope of registration. To secure your free webcast registration visit ASQA's Eventbrite page now.
When it announced the updated package in April 2016, the Australian Industry and Skills Committee (AISC) set an 18-month transition period to allow providers to fully develop their strategies for the intended training and assessment and lodge their applications, as well as to transition students to the new qualification.
