Preparing for implementation of revised Standards
As part of our preparation to implement revised Standards, we are working in partnership with DEWR to pilot the revised Standards. This helps us understand the guidance providers will need to interpret and implement the revised Standards from 1 January 2025. It also allows us to test and refine our regulatory practices and tools.
As we develop our understanding of the revised Standards through these pilot activities, we will share insights here about:
- How RTOs can demonstrate they are meeting the requirements outlined in revised Standards
- Guidance for RTOs about interpreting revised Standards
- Changes ASQA will be making to our regulatory policies and practices, systems and tools to align our approach with revised Standards.
Until 1 January 2025, RTOs will be accountable for complying with the Standards for RTOs 2015.
