Changes to operations or legal status
The National Code of Practice for Registration Authorities and Providers of Education and Training to Overseas Students 2017 requires providers to inform ASQA of prospective changes to ownership and prospective or actual changes to high managerial agents as soon as practicable.
You are also required to notify ASQA of:
- prospective changes to ownership
- prospective or actual changes to high managerial agents as defined in section 5 of the Education Services for Overseas Students Act 2000 (ESOS Act), and
- any changes to the legal entity of the provider.
Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students (CRICOS) providers must inform ASQA of relevant material changes to their operations and/or legal status using asqanet.
