Withdraw RTO registration
A registered training organisation (RTO) may withdraw its registration by giving written notice to the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA).
ASQA will allow withdrawal of the registration if it is satisfied that it is appropriate to do so. The RTO must have met all of its obligations under the the National Vocational Education and Training Regulator Act 2011 (the Act) and, where appropriate, the Education Services for Overseas Students Act 2000.
An organisation whose registration is withdrawn must return its Certificate of Registration to ASQA within 10 working days of the date the withdrawal takes effect.

Please ensure all the information, including attachments, required to assess the application is included. ASQA will return incomplete applications.
ASQA will advise RTOs in writing that their application has been received. ASQA will also advise RTOs in writing of its decision to allow or not allow the withdrawal of registration, including the date from which withdrawal takes effect.
ASQA will state its reasons for rejecting an application for withdrawal of registration.
