Withdraw CRICOS registration
A CRICOS provider may apply to ASQA to withdraw its CRICOS registration .
ASQA will approve withdrawal of Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students (CRICOS) registration if satisfied that the organisation has met all of its obligations under:
Process for withdrawing CRICOS registration
The provider must use the 'Withdraw RTO and/or CRICOS registration' form. The form includes a checklist to assist with the completion of the application.
There is no fee for withdrawing CRICOS registration.
Submit the form, including the required attachments, to registration@asqa.gov.au. Alternatively, post the application to ASQA.
ASQA will return incomplete applications.
ASQA advises providers in writing:
- that the application has been received
- of how the application will be assessed.
ASQA also writes to advise providers of its decision to allow or not allow the withdrawal of CRICOS registration.
If ASQA allows the application to withdraw CRICOS registration, ASQA will inform the provider of the date from which withdrawal takes effect.
